5K for Barrett Transitional Home for Women


Join the ladies of the National Society of Pershing Angels on Sunday, 22 September 2013 on the campus of Norfolk State University in a 5K run / walk. 

The hosts of the 2013 Fall Commanders Call, the sisters of NSPA R-4-5, Norfolk State University, have organized this run as the finale for FCC !!!  All proceeds will support the Barrett Transitional Home in Norfolk, VA.

To enter choose 3 items to bring:
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
  • Can goods
  • Personal Hygiene Products
  • Toothpaste
  • Gently Used Clothes
Or donate $10.00 dollars for admission

Barrett Transitional Home is a nonprofit 501c3 corporation which provides transitional housing and services to single and single pregnant women who find themselves in a homeless situation for a variety of reasons.

Barrett Transitional Home's goal is to break the cycle of homelessness and reestablish self-esteem, self-empowerment, and self-sufficiency in women who will become productive contributors to society.
